Hudson-RHFH employee post #2

This is Hudson with his wife, who is 5 months pregnant, and there little girl.

How long have you been working for RHFH?

August 7 2008

How old are you?

35

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

I have 2 brothers and one sister that are alive.  I have 6 sisters and 4 brothers that died.

What work do you do for RHFH?

I help take special cases to different hospitals.  Examples would be-a group of surgery patients going to Double Harvest.  There might be 20 patients at a time.  I make sure they get there and talk to the doctors and help them through the process of the hospital.  Many are from far away and have not been into Port very often.  It is scary for them.  I take kids with special needs, clubfooted, cleft lip, HIV, and other major problems to special doctors for care.  I do any paper work needed in country for medical visa children.  I help parents that have preemie babies go and visit them at other hospitals.  I buy medications for the clinic.  I send lab work to the US for testing and results.  If the clinic needs some special medication or supplies  I search everywhere I can to find it.  I work on the record keeping in the clinic.  If I am not busy with the above stuff I help write letter of reference and pull charts on clinic days.

What do you think the area (zone) of Cazale needs to help it advance?

better road, professional school, hospital, electricity, help with farming

Do you like your work?  If yes why?

I like my work because it is helping a lot of people in the area.

How did you come to work for RHFH?
(side note from Licia-My mom really liked Hudson and always wanted to give him a job before she died)

In 2004 Madame Zach promised me a job.  She died and nothing happened for my job.  In August of 2008 RHFH called me to begin working in the clinic.

Do you think RHFH does a good work in the area.  If yes would you mind saying a few words.

Yes.  RHFH does a good work in the area.  There would be alot of people that would be dead, if God would not have chosen to send RHFH to our area.  WE will never be finished telling God thank you for this.  To just tell God thank you is not enough.  It is only God that can reward them for what they are doing in Haiti and the area of Cazale.
