Claudette came to the clinic in December 2010.  She was severely burned in a fire.  She almost died.  She has been healing and getting stronger since then.  She is a joy to have here at RHFH.  We all love her.  She is getting better, but she still will be here for several more months.  She came to me this week and asked if she could go to school.  Normally she would not be allowed to attend but we pulled some strings and the school is going to allow her to go.

 Claudette could not walk from Dec 2010 until May 2011.  In May she began walking.  Today she takes hikes with us in the mountains.  Last week she completed a 5 mile hike.  She is a happy little girl that is full on life.   

 I know so many of you love her and have prayed for her.  Please continue.  I am looking for someone is sponsor her for this coming school year.  Her sister, Ti Rose, that lives her with her with walk to and from school with her.  Once she is healed we will transfer her to a school closer to her home.  The cost for school sponsorship is $250.00 for the whole school year.  If you are interested please let me know at licia@realhopeforhaiti.org
