Enoch and his friend (below) had a terrible car accident on Friday. There was a dead horse on the road right after a hill. Enoch was driving and hit the horse and the car flipped several times. This was one of his first friends that he had when we came to Cazale in 1998. They were together every single day. He helped us daily at the cholera house loading supplies and helping out in many different areas. He was married and had two children. (this is his wife and his daughter in the picture below)
Enoch has several scratches and bumps but is otherwise okay physically. Neither one of us are doing well mentally dealing with this. It is hard to understand how someone sitting right next to you can die and you walk away from the accident. We are thankful that Enoch is alive but so very sad that are friend is not. Will you please pray for us.
