New family moving to RHFH

We wanted to let all of you know that we have a new family that will be joining us here soon at RHFH.  We are super excited about this new chapter and the growth of Real Hope For Haiti.

Brennon has visited Haiti 2 times before and is experience in all kinds of things.  He can build, make and create just about anything.  He has experience with equipment, repairs, welding, electricity and more.  We are excited to have him join us and know he will be a big help to all of us.

Allison is experienced in photgraphy and has many office skills that will be helpful to us.  She also has lots of experience with children.  She has visited Haiti 3 times now.

Their children are Lesley and Brianna.  Lesley is graduating from high school this year.  She will be taking some on-line classes for college and will also be working with us at RHFH.  Brianna, the youngest will be going to school with the Betor boys and experience a new life and great adventures in Cazale, Haiti.

Currently, the Garrett family is committing to a 6 month stay with us here at RHFH.  After that we will regroup, pray and seek God as to the future of their family here with us.  As many of you know, this is not a easy adventure for them.  It will be hard.  It will be hot.  it will be frustrating.  It will be lonely.  It will be heartbreaking at times.  In the same moments, they will see miracles, kids recover, sickness healed, broken spirits mended, lives changed, building projects started, new friends made, and will know that they know that they know that there is a real God that loves them so much.  Will you join us in prayer for this new family and their transition into helping us here at RHFH.

This is my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters that will be joining RHFH in June. I have to admit I am not wanting them to go there, for I am selfish and love them dearly and will miss them so very much. But and I do add a but here, I know they are doing what God has shown them to do and for that and that alone I would not stop them even if I could. (which I seriously doubt) I know God will protect them and keep them. I just wanted you all to know that they are very special to us and to so many here in Paducah. They are trying so hard to do God’s work and follow where He leads them. They have worked hard to get everything together for this extended trip encluding enough pills for Brianna. I ask you to be patient with them and know that they are not coming there to change things or try to turn the way of doing things there to the way things are done here. I ask that you guide them and teach them the ways that work best for you all and the Haitian people.
Thank you and God bless each of you and the work you are doing and the things you are accomplishing in His name.
    Sincerely, Susan Vantreese

That is fabulous news! I’ll add them to my RHFH prayers. I long for the day that I can come back to Cazale and serve with you all again. Still praying for that – love and prayers for you all.
