Help for Rose-Marie and her family

I wrote a post about the twins here  last week.  We kept the twins in the RC and the mama  (Rose-Marie) and grandma were staying with someone here in the village.  We sent mama to get a TB test as she was coughing a lot with some blood.  She had appointments each day to come and gets her meds.  She decided on Saturday that she did not want to take them anymore.  She went Monday morning to get the result of her TB tests.  They were positive.  She had a difficult day and by the late afternoon was unconscious.  We were on a walk and were called to let us know she was in bad shape.  Lori began walking fast ahead of us a got a ride back to the clinic in a dump truck.  🙂  Only 2 days without her meds and she was near death.  She was put on oxygen right away and meds were started that night.  Rose -Marie is also dealing with postpartum cardiomyopathy.  I am 99.9% sure if we send her home, she would not make it.  She has several medications that she needs to take and they have to be taken daily.  Without missing a day.

Once she is stable, our plan is to rent a 2 room house here in Cazale.  She left her other 2 kids with a neighbor over 2 weeks ago and has not been able to return to check on them.  She told the neighbor that she would be back in a few days so we are sure they are getting nervous.  We want to get them moved into the house at the beginning of next week and then have grandma go up into the mountains and get the other two kids.  We have a staff member that goes each day to give medications to our HIV and TB patients in the area.  He has met the family and is ready to begin daily visits with them.

Isaiah 58:7 (NKJV)

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
