Transportation in the Cazale Culture

(written by Mathurin)
In all countries of the world, each community has a set of habits and customs in their culture. They have a way to work, a way to harvest, and a way to transport the harvest, either to go home or to go to market. It is with this in mind that we wrote this short story to share with you how the transpo is in the Cazale culture.

In the Cazale culture, we have various reasons for planting and harvesting. For these reasons, we plant various types of plants. We have the season of beans, corn, millet, sweet potatoes, cassava, and many other things.

This is how it is when the harvest season comes. There are people who carry the burden on their heads because they don’t have animals or sometimes it is because the harvest is not much. But, the large land owners must call several animals (either horses, donkeys, or mules) to bring the crops home. There are many people who choose to travel on animals, even if they are bringing in their harvests. Animals are not the only means of transport we have in Cazale to carry our loads. We use motorcycles as a means of transport to carry loads and goods and travel far distances. When we have a lot of things to carry, we use trucks as a means of transport as well. It’s not too long that trucks and motorcycles could travel on our road, but now they are two elements in our culture.

Finally, the means of transportation we have are ourselves, our animals, motorcycles, and trucks. These provide services individuals and to the community at large. These are the means of transportation we have in our Cazale culture.
