We are going old school (so old school that “power” doesn’t even have an “e”) with a classic hymn….enjoy
- Would you be free from the burden of sin?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.- Refrain:
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is pow’r, pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
- Refrain:
- Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide;
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood. - Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Sin-stains are lost in its life-giving flow;
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood. - Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

March 1, 2011 at 10:07 amThanks so much for sharing. This is one of the most powerful songs! It was the school’s song for the Bible College that I attended. Always brings back wonderful memories to hear this song.

April 28, 2013 at 9:52 amI’m not sure. I would ask the Pastor, but I would lean towards keeping it in the traditional version just so there isn’t confusion. Maybe try to other version afterwards.
