Briana is the staff Physician at Real Hope for Haiti. Casey serves as RHFH’s executive director.

Casey and Briana met in 2000, when Briana, a student from the University of Washington, volunteered at the clinic in Cazale. They graduated college in 2001 and married in Tacoma, WA in 2002. Briana initially connected with the RHFH clinic because she long sensed a call to be involved in international medicine. She attended Tulane School of Medicine and received her M.D. in 2008. She simultaneously completed a MPH in Tropical Medicine from the Tulane School of Public Health. Their family returned to her home state of Washington, where she completed an Internal Medicine residency program at Virginia Mason Medical Center in 2011. Casey completed his seminary education and graduated with an M.Div from Corban School of Ministry in Tacoma, WA in 2013. They have 3 children, Grace, Isaiah, and Gretchen and moved to Haiti in 2015.
