So close…

We are only $3333.00 away from reaching the goal and to Lori jumping out of a plane.  I am a nervous wreck just thinking about it!

Story for today…

I was on the phone talking to the head nurse at the cholera house this morning.  We ending the conversation and about 5 minutes later she called and was out of breath.  She said I just wanted to let you know I am running.  Someone called and said they see someone passed out by the river with cholera.  He is with his wife and she cannot carry him.  I am running with supplies to start an IV.  It was about 1 mile from the cholera house. People on the road pointed and told her where he was at but were scared to help carry him.  She ran to him and found him passed out with really shallow breathing.  She was able to get two IV’s started.  She had another staff member that works at the gate entrance come with a stretcher.  They together carried him back up to the house.  He is recovering tonight with 73 other patients.  To God be the Glory.  We are so thankful to our staff  that is working so hard.  There is a teams of 12 coming in Sunday to give them a weeks vacation!  They are very excited about this!

Which of your amazing staff members is that? She deserves a medal. I know she has learned the art of serving from YOU GUYS and her heart is in the right place. AMEN for all the great Haitians who work with you and Lori to save their people!

They deserve to take their families to the beach hotel for a day of fun and relaxation. Hope each staff member enjoys their time off and gets the rest they need and deserve.

Don’t worry, I’m very excited for y’all but also worried for Lori. I will be praying and I am sure that God is in this and will keep her in His hand.
