Memorial for Pope John Paul II

In 1983, Pope John Paul II visited Cazale, Haiti. He mentioned how the Polish contributed to the slave rebellion leading to Haiti’s independence. Several years ago a man named Krzystof Szybinski came to Cazale from Poland. Over the years he has returned and developed long lasting relationship with the people in Cazale.
